An Annual Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The benefits you receive as an annual pass holder are the benefits that apply at the time your annual pass comes into effect.

Temporary closure: January-March 2026

In January, February and March 2026, Aalborg Zoo will be temporarily closed to complete the City of Aalborg's separate sewerage project, which began in winter 2025.

We've chosen to concentrate all the work into one period rather than spread it over two more winters of noise, mess and closures. This way, we can ensure that your visit always lives up to the experience you expect from us - and that the garden is ready in full bloom in the spring when the baby animals are born and nature flourishes.

We sincerely hope that you will support us and our continued work with garden animals during this period. We have been working hard to put together a Very special compensation package*, which allows you to experience culture, animals and exciting attractions - exclusively for Aalborg Zoo annual pass holders.

All upon presentation of your valid annual pass to Aalborg Zoo along with the ticket you receive when you select this package.

*If you want to extend your season pass by three months instead, this option will of course also be available.

How do I choose?
All annual pass holders will receive an email on 3 December with a free choice between the compensation package or renewal of the annual pass. Annual Passes purchased or renewed after this date will of course receive the same options when activating the Annual Pass.

  • 1 November 2025 to 27 March 2026 - except 20 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 (Christmas/New Year) and 6-14 February 2026 (week 7).

The discount cannot be combined with other types of discount agreements or ticket schemes. Remember to state your annual pass number when booking.

This agreement does not apply to booking house type F18.
