What you need to know about annual passes
Digital and physical annual passes.
You can get an Aalborg Zoo annual pass both digitally and physically.
Annual passes are delivered digitally so it is possible to save it on your smartphone.
Once you have purchased an annual pass, you will receive an email with a link to your digital annual pass. Here it will be possible to add your card to the Wallet (iPhone) or Pass2UWallet (Android) app. As an Android user, the link will also include the option to download the Pass2UWallet app if you do not already have it.
It is also possible to pick up your annual pass by logging in to our webshop https://shop.aalborgzoo.dk/. Once logged in, scroll down under "Membership" where you will find the "Download" button under E-Card. If you press download, you will be redirected to download your annual card to your phone.
It is possible to exchange the digital card for a physical annual pass at the garden ticket office - the physical annual pass costs a fee of DKK 50.
How to download your season pass to iPhone
When you receive the email, there will be a link to the digital annual pass.
If you follow the link, you will be given the option to add the annual pass to your Wallet. When you tap Add to Apple Wallet, you will see an image of your annual pass. Tap "Add" in the top right corner.

How to download annual passes for Android
When you receive the email, there will be a link to both the Pass2UWallet app and the digital annual pass.
If you already have the app on your phone, you only need to use Step 2: Add to WalletPasses. If not, you need to download the app first via Step 1.

Physical annual pass
How do I get a physical season pass?
To limit our plastic consumption, we no longer automatically issue a physical card. If you want a physical card, it can be purchased in the Zooshoppen for DKK 50. If you already have a physical card, you can still use it.
Validity of the annual pass.
The validity of the Aalborg Zoo annual pass.
The annual card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Membership will automatically expire if you do not renew the annual pass.
You can sign up for automatic renewal before the card expires. This gives you two extra months of validity. The card will automatically renew every 14 months. Automatic renewal requires you to link a payment card to your account. This discount cannot be combined with other discount schemes.
Membership is binding and non-refundable during the validity period.
Annual pass holders have free access to Aalborg Zoo upon presentation of a valid annual pass and have access to other attractions as described below Annual pass benefits On presentation of a valid annual season ticket. If you do not have a valid season ticket, you will have to pay normal admission, which is non-refundable.
Even if your season pass doesn't expire until next year, you can still extend it. If you extend your current annual pass, your new annual pass will be valid from its current expiry date and one year forward. However, you can extend a card for a maximum of two years from the current expiry date.

Renew your annual pass.

The annual card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Membership will automatically expire if you do not renew your annual pass. Even if your Annual Pass doesn't expire until next year, you can still renew it early. If you renew your current Annual Pass, your new Annual Pass will be valid from its current expiry date for one year. However, you can extend a card for a maximum of two years from the current expiry date.
There are two ways to extend your season pass, regular 12-month renewal or sign up for automatic renewal. Automatic renewal gives you an extra two months of validity - 14 months in total.
Automatic renewal
You can sign up for automatic renewal before the card expires. This gives you two extra months of validity for the same price as a regular annual pass. The card is automatically renewed every 14 months. Automatic renewal requires you to link a payment card to your account. This discount cannot be combined with other discount schemes.
- Log in to your account.
- Click the box just above your picture to activate your membership and get 14 months on your membership.
- Fill in payment details.
- Click through to "Payment".
- Now you need to authorise an order of 0 kr. in My ID. Once this is done, you don't need to take any further action. It can take up to 24 hours for the subscription to take effect.

Regular renewal - 12 months
- Log in to your account.
- Select "My Memberships" from the menu on the left.
- Click on the "Change/Renew Membership" box and select renewal.
- When you click "Select", the annual pass is added to the basket and you can proceed to payment.
My annual pass has just expired - can I still renew it and reuse my photo?
Yes, you can easily renew your annual pass.
Select "My Memberships" in the menu on the left. Here you have the option to renew to a regular annual pass or sign up for automatic renewal. See "Renew annual pass".
Log in to your account
My Annual Pass has not expired - what happens if I renew it?
The new period is a continuation of the current one.
You will not lose the validity of your annual pass even if you extend before the current pass has expired. The new period will apply from the card's current expiry date and one year forward. However, you can extend a card for a maximum of two years from the current expiry date and any unused free visits to Odense Zoo, Givskud Zoo and Ree Park will be lost. You will of course get three new free visits on the new annual pass.
I haven't used all my free visits on my card.
What happens when I renew my card?
Unfortunately, you cannot transfer unused free visits from your current annual pass if you extend your annual pass. This means that any unused free visits to Odense Zoo, Givskud Zoo and Ree Park will be lost. You will of course get three new free visits on the new annual pass.
I have not received confirmation of my annual pass.
Can't find the email with the link to your digital annual pass?
Once you have completed your payment, the welcome email will be sent to the provided email address within approximately 10 minutes.
If you can't find the email with the link to your digital season pass, search your inbox/spam/junk mail/spam/advertisements for an email from: [email protected].
If you still can't find the email, it's usually due to a typo in the email address. Please contact us at the following:

It is important that you include your name and mobile number in the email to us, so we can help resend the link to your digital season pass.
How do I change my payment details?
You can change your payment details in the webshop.
Under Payment details, select "Edit"
Log in to your account
Select "My Subscriptions" on the left side
Under action, select "View Subscription"
Expiry date is not displayed correctly on my digital card.
How to update the card in your Wallet.
iPhone
- Open the card in your Wallet
- In the top right corner you can tap three small dots. Then tap on "Account details".
- Swipe from top to bottom. The map is updated.

Can I postpone the start date of my annual pass?
It is not possible to postpone the start date of the annual pass.
The annual pass is valid from the date the pass is purchased. If you renew while still in an active period, the new period will start on the end date of the current period.
My child turns one year old in the middle of a validity period.
When purchasing an annual pass, please base your purchase on the child's current age.
If your child is 11 years old and turns 12 during the validity period of the annual pass, simply buy a child annual pass.
If your child has turned 12 years old since you bought the child annual pass, you must renew to an adult annual pass.
If the season ticket type is not correct, please contact us at [email protected] and upgrade your season pass type before renewing your season pass.
Can I send a digital season pass to someone else?
Yes, you can send your children's cards to others so that more of you can take them to the Zoo.

What do I do?

Switch on computer
- Log in to your account
- Click on the bottom icon next to the picture frame to upload image
- Click "Browse" and find the desired image on your computer
- Click "Open" You now have the option to crop and zoom the image.
- Click on "Save"

On the phone
- Log in to your account
- Click the camera icon next to the picture frame and take a new photo.

Lost card.
Read here what to do if you have lost your season pass.
If you lose your annual pass, you must contact Aalborg Zoo immediately so that the annual pass can be cancelled. If a lost annual pass is used by a person other than the annual pass holder without a blocking order, Aalborg Zoo considers this to be misuse, and the annual pass will be cancelled. Cancelled annual passes will not be returned and will not be fully or partially refunded.
Give an annual pass as a gift.

A gift card to Aalborg Zoo can be used to purchase tickets, annual passes, food and drink or products from the Zoo Shop.
Can I buy annual passes with a gift voucher?
Yes, you can buy tickets, annual passes and event tickets in the webshop.
Under "Gift voucher" enter the number that appears under the barcode on your gift voucher
