Online tickets
You must be at least 18 years old to buy tickets online. Online tickets are non-refundable.
Online tickets
Online tickets are valid for admission to Aalborg Zoo, as stated on the ticket, on any opening day for one year from the date of purchase. Tickets for special events and behind-the-scenes tours must be used as stated on the ticket and cannot be exchanged.
See opening hours here and be aware of any closing days.
It is emphasised that online tickets not used before the expiry date will be cancelled without further compensation.
You will receive the online ticket as a PDF file by email. You can print the ticket from home and hand it in at the ticket counter, or you can view the ticket as a PDF file on your smartphone/tablet at the ticket counter.
Please note that each ticket has a unique barcode. Once it has been scanned at the ticket office at Aalborg Zoo, it cannot be used again. You are responsible for any misuse of your online ticket, so please keep it safe until you arrive at Aalborg Zoo.
Aalborg Zoo does not accept responsibility for printing errors or subsequent price changes.
Online tickets cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers.
Delivery of online tickets
Once you have completed your payment, the online ticket will be sent to the email address provided within approximately 10 minutes.
Aalborg Zoo accepts no responsibility for delays in delivery caused by technical problems, the customer's own spam filter or incorrectly stated e-mail address.
Payment and security
All prices are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated.
Credit card transactions are done on a separate secured server with full encryption of all credit card information. Aalborg Zoo works with Adyen to maintain a secure payment solution. This solution fulfils all PBS requirements for secure payment solutions. Your credit card information will not be made available to other companies or organisations.
We place a "cookie" on your computer so that the browser can recognise your information the next time you visit our online store. This cookie is also used to track your shopping basket and for statistical purposes.
Fee
Aalborg Zoo pays a fee to the card acquirer to facilitate the transaction. When purchasing online tickets, Aalborg Zoo does not re-invoice this fee.
Right of cancellation
In accordance with the "Act on Certain Consumer Contracts § 17 (2) cf. § 9 (2) no. 2a", tickets purchased online are not covered by the right of cancellation and are therefore not refundable.
Registration of information
Aalborg Zoo registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not passed on, but Aalborg Zoo retains the registration for 5 years.
Annual pass
Discount deals cannot be combined. Free tickets cannot be used for offers to refund the day ticket in connection with the purchase of an annual pass. Subject to special rules, pre-sold tickets can be refunded with an amount determined by Aalborg Zoo in connection with the purchase of an annual pass. No tickets can be exchanged for cash.
By purchasing an annual pass to Aalborg Zoo, you accept the following conditions, which should be read carefully before purchase.
There are 3 types of annual passes: Adult Annual Pass, Child Annual Pass (3-11 years) and Student Annual Pass. Children must not have reached the age of 12 at the time an Annual Pass Child is issued. It is the buyer of a given Annual Pass who must provide proof of age at the time of purchase.
The Annual Pass is strictly personal and may only be used by the person to whom it is issued (the Annual Pass holder). The season ticket holder is responsible for ensuring that the season ticket is not used by others. If someone else uses your season pass, it will result in the card being withdrawn and cancelled. You will not get your season pass back if it is cancelled, and you will not get a full or partial refund if your season pass is cancelled.
When an annual pass is used, Aalborg Zoo takes a photo of the annual pass holder. This photo is stored electronically and is displayed on a screen visible to the ticket inspector at the entrance when visiting Aalborg Zoo. The inspector may ask to see other valid identification.
Validity
The annual pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Membership
will automatically expire thereafter if you do not renew the annual pass.
You can sign up for automatic renewal before the card expires. This gives you two extra months of validity. The card will automatically renew every 14 months. Automatic renewal requires you to link a payment card to your account. This discount cannot be combined with other discount schemes.
Membership is binding and non-refundable during the validity period.
Annual pass holders have free admission to Aalborg Zoo upon presentation of a valid
annual pass and you have access to other attractions as described under Annual pass benefits On presentation of a valid annual season ticket. If you do not have a valid season ticket, you will have to pay normal admission, which is non-refundable.
Lost card
If the annual pass is lost, you must contact Aalborg Zoo immediately so that the annual pass can be cancelled. If a lost annual pass is used by someone other than the annual pass holder without a blocking order, Aalborg Zoo will consider this to be misuse, and the annual pass will be cancelled. Cancelled annual passes will not be returned and will not be fully or partially refunded.
Handover
If two memberships have been issued in the same name, one of the memberships may be refunded if the annual pass in question has not already been used. A membership cannot be transferred to another person - however, in the event of death, the membership can be transferred for a fee of DKK 50.
Gift and business memberships are non-refundable.
Right of cancellation
Purchases of annual passes are not covered by the right of cancellation, cf. section 18(2) of the Consumer Contracts Act, and are therefore not refundable.

I do not receive an email from you
If you do not receive an email from Aalborg Zoo within about 10 minutes, please check your spam filter or junk email folder. If you still cannot find the email, please contact us.
I accidentally deleted my email with the tickets
If you accidentally deleted the email, please contact us and we will resend the email.
I have lost my tickets
If you have lost your tickets, we can resend the email to you. Please note that tickets can only be used once and that someone else may have used them. Aalborg Zoo is not responsible for misuse of lost tickets, and this may mean that your tickets have been lost.
