Minigris
A variety of the domestic pig, the minipig was originally derived from wild pigs but has been bred into a more peaceful animal. The term 'mini pig' covers a number of breeds of pigs. Due to its size, the mini pig is often used in medical research and as a pet.
In the wild, mini pigs live in small herds and thrive in the company of other conspecifics.
In general, pigs are highly intelligent animals with a high learning ability and several researchers believe that they are more intelligent than dogs.
It is said that pigs are pregnant for 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days, as this corresponds to 115 days.
