Summer Race 2025 - Aalborg Zoo x Bridgerunner

Are you ready for an experience that combines exercise, nature and wildlife in a unique way? Then you and your family should participate in the Summer Run 2025, which will be held at Aalborg Zoo on 26 June 2025. Here you will have the opportunity to experience Aalborg Zoo anew as you run or walk between the zoo's many different animal facilities.

RUN FOR A GOOD CAUSE

As a participant in the Summer Run 2025 you support nature conservation. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to supporting the world's nature and wildlife.

Location: Aalborg Zoo

Start: 17:45 at the African Village

  • NOTE: You can pick up your start number in the Zooshop at the entrance from 16:30

Number of participants: max 1500

Distances:

  • 2.5 km run/walk - start at 17:45
  • 5 km run/walk - start at 18:30
  • 10 km run/walk - start at 18:30
  • 15 km race - start at 19:00
  • Half marathon (21.1 km) race - start at 19:00

That's what you get as a participant:

  • Access to a unique finish area with stalls and animal facilities before, during and after the race
  • Unique metal medal
  • Race number with your name
  • Print-yourself diploma
  • Time tracking via the Sportiming app
  • Depot with juice, water, fruit, crisps, sweets, etc.

Cheer ticket:

Don't want to run, but still want to be part of the atmosphere? Then with a cheering ticket you can stay in the finish area and the cosy zone, cheer and party - but you will NOT receive a medal, start number, timing or depot access.

In the finish area you can experience, among other things:

  • The African Village
  • A fantastic view of the plain

    When you're hungry, visit the Butterfly Café for delicious food and refreshments - or bring your own food and grill at the barbecues set up by the playground.
