29 July at 14.30
Learn about European lynx and the behind-the-scenes work at the zoo
If you're a true animal nerd or just really curious about what goes on behind the scenes at Aalborg Zoo, join us as we dissect a European lynx.
The skilful veterinarians Sara and Trine and our zoologist Thea will tell stories about the garden and lynxes in general.
Dissection is a method used in medicine, biology and other scientific fields to study the structure of the body or organisms by separating and examining the different parts. At the zoo, dissection is used to find out, for example, the causes of death or the effects of diseases in the body, and in this way we can contribute to research both in Denmark and elsewhere in the world.
It's exciting storytelling for kids and adults alike, so come along and get all your questions answered!
